My First Awards

I am one extremely lucky blogger right now that is very touched!I have been given the following award by Mindy as well as Anne!!!

1. I am currently going to school to get a degree in accounting.

2. I am obsessed with dragonflies.

3. I figured skated for 7 years.

4. I love spending my weekends in the craftroom with my mom (and my sister when she's visiting).

5. My dad just recently bought me my own cricut :)

6. I love country music.

7. I just recently found out I love going to Hobby Lobby.

8. My favorite color is pink (and if I could all my crafts would have pink on it).

Love Bug

Here I go again! I can now see how so many people have become addicted to these amazing challenges. This time I have decided to enter this card into two seperate challenges.

The first is the Design Time Thursday challenge located on the Creative Cutter Room blog. The theme of this challenge is Love Bug.

The second one was recommended to me by a new follower and it is located on the Digi Doodle Shop's Best blog. It is Challenge #45 'Valentine's'.

Just as I made the previous Valentine's Day card for my nephew, this one is for my niece!

The materials used to make this card are:

• The Create a Critter Cartridge for the Lady But, the flowers, and the "Love Bug" phrase
• The Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge for the grass
• The Red Paper is Stampin Up - Real Red
• The Pink Paper is Stampin Up - Pretty in Pink
• The Green Paper is from my stash
• The Heart Paper is from The Paper Company (I think I got that a year ago or so)
• The rhinstones are from my stash
• I finished it off my adding Stickles

My First Post & Challenge All In One!

I have decided to participate in my very first challenge! With the help of my mom I have been surfing through numerous challenges and finally came upon one that I thought would be good for me to start with. It is the Love Card Challenge found on the Creative Craft World blog. The requirement of the challenge are to make a card with the theme "Love."


I have made the following card for my nephew's first Valentines Day!

Getting Started

Welcome to my blog! This is so exciting! I have been watching my mom get extremely involved in this "blogging" world and decided that it is time for me to join her! I enjoy spending as much time as possible in the craft room with my mom, especially on weekends and snow days. I am looking forward to posting my creative designs for all to see as well as commenting on others!
